NYC high school football season kicks off under the lights
The high school football season began Friday night in Coney Island.The Abraham Lincoln Railsplitters, defending PSAL champions, hosted the DeWitt Clinton Governors. Lincoln defeated Clinton in last season's semifinals match-up.Since reopening their new turf field, the Railsplitters have posted a 16-0 record at home.The last team to repeat as PSAL champions was Fort Hamilton five years ago.
