A man was shot to death in broad daylight near an elementary school in Bedford-Stuyvesant yesterday. Police say 28-year-old Kareem Holifield was killed outside 17 Spencer Place, across the street from P.S. 3. Witnesses say shots rang out at around 3:30 p.m., just as school was being dismissed. Holifield was taken to Interfaith Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Authorities are still searching for a suspect.
