Police have made an arrest in the fatal shooting of a Brooklyn mother, just hours before she is laid to rest.
According to investigators, 21-year-old Christopher Johnson, of Bed-Stuy, has been charged with murder. They say he shot 28-year-old Fatima Gordon in Prospect Lefferts Gardens last Thursday.
Family and friends said goodbye to Gordon, who leaves behind a 7-year-old son, at the Christina Cultural Center Friday. Her grandmother says they will now march every Thursday in her honor.
Cops say that a 13-year-old boy and two other men were also hurt in the shooting, but are expected to be OK.
