11 firefighters hurt in Crown Heights 4-alarm fire
Eleven firefighters were taken to the hospital with minor injuries after battling a four-alarm fire in Crown Heights.
Flames shot through the windows of the four-story building at 1365 Carroll St., sending families running from their home in the middle of the night. It took firefighters about two hours to get the blaze under control.
Tenants say the fire isn't the first in their building. They say flames erupted in the same vacant apartment just a few months ago as well.
It is unclear when displaced residents will be able to return home. The cause of the fire is now under investigation.
