Students and teachers are learning more about the Gowanus Canal with the help of a robot researcher.
The remote-controlled robot created by a team of researchers and students at the Polytechnic Institute of New York University has taken pictures and collected samples in an effort to keep track of pollution cleanup. The data collected is constantly uploaded to a website.
