Boaters, fisherman prepare for Hurricane Sandy
Brooklyn boaters at Sheepshead Bay are bracing for the worst as Hurricane Sandy makes its way up the coastline.
Boaters and local fisherman say they will be pulling their boats out of the water after the battering Hurricane Irene put on the docks last year.
Sandy could bring heavy rain, high winds, flooding and tornadoes next week. Widespread power outages are also possible.
Gov. Andrew Cuomo has declared a state of emergency in New York ahead of Sandy.
