The race for district leader in Brooklyn's 50th Assembly District has come to an end about a month after the election. Primary recount results were announced, declaring Chris Olechowski the winner.

The race for district leader in Brooklyn's 50th Assembly District has come to an end about a month after the election.
Primary recount results were announced, declaring Chris Olechowski the winner. He beat out Lincoln Restler by just 19 votes.
Olechowski is a Polish community leader and the community board chairman in Greenpoint.
