World championship boxing is returning to Brooklyn for the first time in 80 years.
Boxers warmed up and trained for the public outside the Barclays Center Wednesday before they enter the ring at the arena Saturday night. The athletes say they're excited to reignite the sport locally, and fans have been showing just as much excitement.
Some of the featured fighters hail right from the borough, which has produced boxing greats like Mike Tyson and Riddick Bowe.
