Toy museum brings make believe to life in BK

Mr. Potato Head, Barbie and Howdy Doody are just some of the toys being brought to life in the city's only toy museum.
The Toy Museum of New York, which was founded in 1999 by Marlene Hochman, is open at its new location at 180 Smith St. in Cobble Hill. Visitors take performance tours that teach American history through the displays.
Hochman says the museum isn't just fun for kids, but also a walk down memory lane for adults. To watch an interview with the museum's founder, click on News 12 Extra on Optimum TV channel 612.
