Cyclists call for safer city streets
Cyclists are calling for safer streets after a fatal hit-and-run last week on Metropolitan Avenue. Cyclists across the borough have asked the city to not only put in more safety signs, but also to install more bike lanes. They say that last week's accident was not the only recent incident in which a biker was hurt. In the mean time, the hit-and-run driver who killed popular drummer Terrance Connor last week is still on the loose.
