Bay Ridge car dealer to pay for rolling over customers

A Bay Ridge car dealer has been ordered to pay nearly $300,000 in restitution to customers for fraudulent sales practices.
A supreme court judge ordered John Giufree to make payments to 46 customers from his Hyundai, Kia, Mitsubishi and Mazda dealerships. His poor practices included adding after-market items and pressuring buyers into signing blank contracts.
State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman says the victims were left with ruined credit reports or car options they never chose.
