Cops: Man arrested in fatal hit-and-run in Williamsburg

Police say they have arrested a man in connection with a fatal hit-and-run this morning in Williamsburg.

Witnesses say a couple was crossing Borinquen Place when a speeding car hit them, sending the man into oncoming traffic. The man, identified as 35-year-old Raul Delacruz, was hit by another car and was killed. The woman was rushed to Elmhurst Hospital in critical condition.

Officials say they have arrested 27-year-old Adam Rico, of Crown Heights, in connection with the hit-and-run. They say he faces charges of leaving the scene of an accident.
