Cuomo unveils 24-hour service for Sandy insurance claims
Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced a new 24-hour service to help victims of Superstorm Sandy file insurance claims.
Victims of Sandy can call 1-800-339-1759 to speak to an expert, who will also contact the insurance companies for residents.
Officials ask victims to check if they have private insurance first because FEMA will not reimburse those residents.
