Mets pitch in on Sandy recovery in Coney Island
Members of the New York Mets baseball franchise are pitching in to help Sandy victims in Coney Island.
Pitcher Johan Santana and Mets COO Jeff Wilpon made two stops in the neighborhood, which took a devastating hit from the superstorm.
The pair handed out boxed lunches to residents at Lady of Solace Church and at the Coney Island Gospel Assembly.
