Many residents in Canarsie are starting to rebuild from the devastation of Sandy.

Some locals in the area are upset they were not part of the 'Zone A' evacuations. Residents who lost cars and personal items during Sandy say they had only just finished recovering from Tropical Storm Irene.

Assemblymen Nick Perry and Hakeen Jeffries visited homes in Canarsie today to offer their condolences and see what they could do to help.
