Limited subway service is back up and running again in many parts of the city.
The MTA says 14 of the city's 23 lines are operating again for the first time since before Hurricane Sandy hit. Bus service has already been restored and is operating on a regular schedule with delays.
Commuters say disrupted schedules and delays are frustrating, but they're relieved to have at least some trains rolling again.
Gov. Andrew Cuomo has also authorized all fares to be waived through Friday.
