Shoppers get clicked into cyber sales

Shoppers who avoided the masses on Black Friday are now rushing to their computers to get clicked into some of the best cyber sales.

Cyber Monday is the day that most retailers hold huge post-Thanksgiving markdowns online. Experts say sales are expected to jump 20 percent from last year as Americans spend $1.5 billion from the comfort of their own homes and offices.

Technology has been a game changer for Cyber Monday, which began in 2005 when many people waited until they got into work Monday morning to access high-speed Internet. Experts say deal seekers now spend online all weekend while on-the-go and this year is no different. An estimated $60 billion was spent since Thanksgiving.
