If you're feeling tired, suffering from poor circulation, or have aching joints, there could be a cure right in your kitchen cupboard.
Licensed herbalist Karen Rose, of Sacred Vibes Apothecary, is one of a growing number of people using herbs and spices as an alternative form of medicine.
Rose says ginger and cinnamon are two of the many common kitchen items that promote wellness.
She spoke to News 12 Brooklyn about ways to use "plant medicine" to brew teas, create facial masks and more.
