Schumer returns to alma mater in Brooklyn

New York Sen. Charles Schumer returned to his roots with a visit to his Brooklyn alma mater Friday.

Schumer stopped by James Madison High School in Midwood to talk to students about growing up in the borough and making the journey to Washington.

The high schoolers say they felt honored to welcome back such a high-ranking elected official.

The senator graduated from James Madison in 1967. Other notable alumni include Carole King and Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
