Police: Boy inappropriately touched by stranger
Police say a young boy was approached and inappropriately touched by a stranger in broad daylight on a street in Williamsburg.
Police say a man approached the boy near Flushing and Nostrand avenues at around 9:30 a.m. Sunday.
Witnesses say the boy is an 11-year-old who lives nearby and was waiting for a bus. They say a school bus driver witnessed the incident and came to the boy's aid. The driver scared off the suspect, who then ran into the Marcy Houses NYCHA complex nearby.
Witnesses say the boy was shaken up and crying after the incident.
No arrests have been made. Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
