Officials say it happened Friday just after 4:30 p.m. near Linden Boulevard and New Jersey Avenue.

They say a man with a 14-year-old passenger was speeding on a dirt bike when it hit a Honda that was making a U-turn.

Both the bike's driver and passenger were thrown from the bike.

The driver ran from the scene.

Police say the suspect is 17 to 20 years old and was wearing a black vest and orange shirt at the time of the crash.
