Fallen officer transported to LI for burial

The body of a fallen NYPD officer has been transported from New York City to Nassau County where he will be laid to rest.
Chopper 12 was overhead as 25-year-old Brian Moore was taken back to his native Long Island. He died Monday, two days after being shot in the head while on duty in Queens.
Police say 35-year-old Demetrius Blackwell is now facing upgraded first-degree murder charges for the crime.
Both Mayor Bill de Blasio and Gov. Andrew Cuomo ordered city and state flags to be flown at half-staff in his honor. Cuomo said, "Officer Moore put his life on the line in order to protect his fellow New Yorkers, and our state is a better place because of him."
