Suspicious bag prompts evacuation at Newark Airport

Part of Newark Airport was evacuated Wednesday after a bag was left unattended.

Chopper 12 was over the scene as authorities converged on Terminal C at around 11 a.m.

Sister station News 12 New Jersey reports that police and the bomb squad investigated the situation and determined that there was not a threat.

Passengers have since been allowed back into the airport.
