Experts: Long winter bolsters allergy season

Experts say a long, cold winter is to blame for this year's harsh allergy season.

The rain, snow and bitter cold delayed tree pollination, causing it to coincide with grass pollination, experts say.

Dr. Tatyana Yakovleva, an allergist, says she treats symptoms with a holistic approach. 

Her tips include acupuncture, accupressure, a mix of natural herbs and a low-sugar diet.
