Macy's fireworks return to East River for second year

The Macy's 4th of July fireworks are once again returning to the East River.

The must-see event took a detour around the Hudson in recent years, but is set to return to the East River for the second year in a row.

Brooklyn residents say they're excited because the view from Dumbo or Brooklyn Bridge Park is spectacular. Emily Dubovoy says the event makes her really excited to be living in New York and she calls the fireworks epic.

Business owners are also looking forward to the fireworks. They are hoping for extra foot traffic.
