The NYPD has released a sketch of a man wanted in connection with eight armed robberies and one attempted robbery in the Flatbush area.

According to investigators, the suspect either approaches his victims as they enter their homes or forcibly gets inside and confronts them there. In each case he flashed a gun and demands their belongings.

Police have also released surveillance video of the man trying to enter a home and later using a stolen ATM card. He's described as being African-American and between 20 to 30 years old. He has been seen wearing a green-hooded sweatshirt and a baseball cap.

The string of crimes dates all the way back to mid-February with the latest incident happening on May 15.
