Feminist award goes to 'Miss Piggy'
One of TV and film's "Muppets" has won high honors from a feminist institution for her contributions to the movement.
This year the award went to Miss Piggy.
The Sackler Center First Awards honor women of power, influence and determination.
Past winners include women who have made remarkable contributions in their fields, like Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor.
Organizers say the iconic character was chosen because she is both beloved by general audiences and representative of feminist values.
