Thursday shaped up to be the hottest day of the year so far, with temperatures in the city hitting 90.
Residents were urged to be extra cautious when heading out in the sun.
In addition to the high temperatures, the UV index was also very high and the air quality was low Thursday.
Despite the conditions, News 12 spoke with several residents who were out walking the streets and enjoying the summer-like weather.
