Brooklyn celebrates LGBT community with festival, parade
Brooklyn celebrated its 19th Pride Day on Saturday with a Park Slope festival that focused on fun festivities as well as the fight for equal rights for the LGBT community.
Thousands of people from all over the city attended the party, which included cheerleaders, food booths and much more along Fifth Avenue from Third Street to Sixth Street.
Free HIV tests were available to attendees.
Tonight the Brooklyn Pride Parade kicks off on at 5th Avenue and Lincoln Place.
