Police are trying to figure out what led to the death of a woman who was found inside a room at the Bushwick Hotel.
According to authorities, a 34-year-old woman was found unconscious and unresponsive on a bed at the hotel, located at 171 Bushwick Ave. She was pronounced dead at the scene at around 4:30 p.m. Thursday.
Police sources say that a clerk made the discovery after checking on the room because the woman was supposed to have checked out.
Officials are not revealing whether the woman suffered any injuries, and the medical examiner will determine the cause of death.
