Coney Island's Luna Park is opening a new amusement ride that's supposed to simulate a crossover between sailing and flying.
Windstarz gives riders the freedom to steer and propel themselves in all directions.
Luna Park is boasting that Windstarz is the first people-propelled thrill ride in the world.
It uses the wind coming off of the ocean and the strength of riders to get going, and the park's general manager Fernando Velasquez says it takes some practice.
The ride officially opens to the public this weekend.
