Horse stables provide escape from city life

The Kensington Stables provide Brooklyn residents with an escape from bustling city life.
Walker Blankinship has owned the stables for 20 years. He says that an important part of owning a stable is building relationships with the horses, and then facilitating further relationships between clients and the animals.
Blankinship says his business provides people with a place where they can learn to ride without having to leave the borough.
In 2009, the city opened its first horse lanes in Park Circle.
