A teenager with autism who ran away from his home on Saint Marks Avenue Monday afternoon is now back safe with his family.
Joshua Charles, 15, returned home at around 5:00 p.m. His mother, Esther, was putting up fliers when she was alerted to his return.
Charles told his mother that he was off visiting a female friend. He says when he realized he did not know her address, he made his way back home.
Charles promised his mother he would never run away again.
