Citi Bike will be installing dozens of new stations in Greenpoint, Williamsburg and Bed-Stuy.
The expansion in Greenpoint is the first phase of a plan that will double the number of bikes in two years across the city.
McGuinness Boulevard near the Pulaski Bridge just received a new station holding 30 bikes.
In the future, the expansion will continue into Crown Heights and the whole northwest part of Brooklyn.
