Several pre-K sites close; parents scramble for solution

Several pre-K sites have been closed for a variety of issues, just days before classes start, leaving dozens of families scrambling to find a solution.
Elite Kids Service in East New York is one of the seven pre-kindergarten sites across the city to get shut down.
According to Capitalnewyork.com, the Department of Education says 127 of the 175 affected children have been matched with new sites.
In a statement to Capitalnewyork.com, the deputy mayor says a site doesn't open if they don't feel 100 percent confident.
Last year, just hours before the start to school, nine pre-K centers, including two in Brooklyn, were closed due to health and safety concerns.
