Sanitation trucks were out this morning making sure the streets are clean after the West Indian American Day Carnival.
On Sunday, many people attended the parade to celebrate the cultures of the Caribbean.
Many residents said it was pleasant to wake up to clean streets.
"They didn't do too bad a job this year," said Rachel Dawson, of Crown Heights. "Normally it's a lot worse. I had to walk my dogs out this morning and normally they feel that it's a feast out here because there's so many remains of food, but they didn't do too bad this year."
