Residents head to beach to bask in warm weather

Some residents took advantage of the warm weather and headed to Coney Island Tuesday.

Workers on the boardwalk say business has been booming all summer.

The owner of Toms Coney Island says it's been great seeing the beaches so busy because with a busy beach comes a busy lunch and dinner rush.

Temperatures are expected to continue being hot and humid. Experts advise to bring plenty of water and sunscreen if visiting the beach.

The beaches are still open for another week.
