Islanders legend visits team's new home
The Islanders' tenure at the team's new home, the Barclays Center, officially begins Monday with a preseason game, and an old school team legend was in the borough to meet fans this week.
Four-time Stanley Cup winner and Hall of Famer Mike Bossy was in Downtown Brooklyn as the team tries to connect with Brooklyn fans.
"They have to win over a whole new crowd here, and it's a lot of pressure, but I'm sure they're up to the task," Bossy said.
The team also unveiled a replica display of rinkside seats to give fans a preview of what's to come.
