Police seek suspect in Brownsville Christmas Day shooting

Police are searching for a man who opened fire on a group of people in Brownsville on Christmas Day.



Officials say the suspect approached the group of people outside an apartment on Pitkin Avenue and Barbey Avenue.



They say the suspect pulled out a gun and began shooting at the group, striking a 17-year-old woman and 20-year-old man in the leg.



News 12 Brooklyn is told both victims went to the hospital on their own and that they are doing fine.
