Warmer temps, sun help Brooklyn residents dig out
Residents across Brooklyn are still trying to dig out their cars and clear driveways Tuesday as some snow begins to melt.
Dominic Riano, of Bushwick, put off shoveling until it was really necessary. Riano says ultimately he had to shovel since there was no parking because of the snow.
Riano says initially his streets weren't plowed and that he didn't have access to side streets for two days.
In Canarsie, some residents were working to better clear their driveways now that the snow is beginning to melt.
Basil Drummond, of Canarsie, says the sun has definitely made the task of shoveling a bit better.
