The bodies of two women were found in separate waterways Wednesday in Brooklyn.
Around 7:45 a.m., police say the naked body of 50-year-old Haydee Rivera was found floating in the East River near the Williamsburg Bridge. There did not appear to be any trauma to the body.
A few hours later, a second body was pulled from the water near the Metropolitan Avenue Bridge, which is a mostly industrial area. That woman is 69 years old, News 12 is told.
Police are investigating whether the two incidents are connected. The medical examiner will determine their exact causes of death.
