Marc Anthony visits Ebbets Field Middle School

Latin music superstar Marc Anthony visited a Crown Heights middle school for the federal Turnaround Arts program Friday.
Anthony, an award-winning singer and actor, told students at Ebbets Field Middle School that arts programs during his childhood changed his life for the better.
Turnaround Arts is a national program aimed at providing arts resources to struggling schools. Officials say such tools are extremely useful in education.
Anthony agrees. He said he stuttered horribly when he was a child.
"But when I sang, I didn't stutter," he told the students. "And so it became sanctuary."
