51-year-old Long Island man robbed, stabbed by four men in Flatlands

Police are searching for four men who they say forced a 51-year-old Long Island man into a minivan and stabbed him during a robbery in Flatlands.

It happened Tuesday night near E. 39th Street and Foster Avenue around 10:30 p.m.

Police say they received a call from a witness who told them she had seen a man being approached by two men with guns.

The witness says the men were wearing masks and that they pushed the victim into a van.

Police say surveillance video shows a van close to where the witness had reported the incident.

The victim was stabbed in the legs and arms multiple times, according to police.

The suspects took cash, debit cards and the man's iPhone before leaving him.
