Police release new surveillance video of Prospect Park attempted rape suspect

Police have released new surveillance video of a man they say attempted to rape a jogger in Prospect Park last month.

Police say the man approached the jogger in Prospect Park on April 20. He pulled out a knife and told her he was going to sexually assault her, according to investigators.

They say he is described as being 5'10" to 6'0" tall and weighing 180 to 190 pounds with short hair and a goatee.

He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, black pants with white lettering on one pant leg, and black sneakers with white bottoms.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS.
