22-year-old prisoner mistakenly released from Brooklyn Supreme Court
Police are searching for an escaped prisoner who convinced correction officers to let him go from Brooklyn Supreme Court.
Police say 22-year-old Layquan Johnson provided documents to staff at the court with false information on May 3, and was mistakenly released.
Johnson was arrested in connection for a non-fatal shooting back in December.
He was last seen wearing a grey sweatshirt, dark-colored pants and light-colored sneakers.
