3 workers rushed to hospital after steel beam falls at Sunset Park construction site

Three construction workers were rushed to the hospital after a steel beam fell on top of them at a construction site in Brooklyn Monday, according to officials.
It happened at a construction site in Sunset Park around 8 a.m.
Witnesses who recorded cellphone video say firefighters arrived on the scene, and removed the three men who were trapped underneath the beam. Emergency responders say the men suffered serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
They say one of the men was transported to Methodist Hospital while the other two men were transported to Lutheran Hospital.
Officials are still investigating what caused the beam to fall.
