East Flatbush residents march against gun violence

Brooklyn residents united in peaceful protest Saturday, marching and chanting in an effort to end gun violence.
The sixth annual "Not In My Hood" march was organized by a nonprofit called East Flatbush Village Inc.
Community members and elected officials marched from Meyer Levin junior high school to a resource fair, trying to get one important message across to the youth in the community: drop the guns.
The fair featured information on job opportunities and after-school programs.
