Students from four Brooklyn schools are on their way to Washington, D.C. to perform for first lady Michelle Obama.
Sixteen students will be joining a larger group at the White House to meet and sing for Obama and other high-profile guests.
The New York group has been working after school and on weekends to prepare a song from the musical "Hairspray" for their performance.
The group will also see themselves in a finished music video that they worked on with students nationwide as well as with celebrities like Paula Abdul.
Their big White House performance happens Wednesday.
