Film director Spike Lee helped fans celebrate what would have been Prince's 58th birthday by hosting a huge party Saturday in Bedford-Stuyvesant.
Prince, who died in April of an accidental opioid overdose, was born on June 7, 1958.
Fans couldn't help grooving to Prince's funky tunes, letting the world know that the pop icon will be missed.
"What I love about Prince is the fact that he was a musical genius," said Kimberly Smith, of East New York.
Lee, a friend to Prince, threw a similar party in Brooklyn on the night he died on April 21.
