Police: Boy in stable condition after hit by car in Park Slope
Police say a young child is in the hospital after being struck by a car in Park Slope on Thursday.
They say it happened around 8 a.m. at the intersection of Garfield Place and Fifth Avenue.
Witnesses say the boy was crossing the street against the light and was hit by a black car that appeared to be a livery cab.
News 12 has learned that the boy is in stable condition.
The driver stayed at the scene, and it is not clear if any charges will be filed.
